The Committee wishes to remind all residents of the Restrictive Covenants which exist for the mutual benefit of all. Keeping your property in good condition makes good sense in more ways than one; the overall well kept appearance of the estate enhances its desirability, and thus market prices. The Restrictive Covenants contained in the property deeds are as follows: |
1 |
Each house is to be used as a private residence in single occupation. |
2 |
No trade or business is to be set up or carried on. |
3 |
Walls, fences or hedges are not to be placed in front of the building line |
4 |
Aerials are not to erected externally |
5 |
The property is to be well maintained and painted, and the original colour thereof not changed - that is all painted woodwork to be white |
6 |
Livestock or fowls are not to be kept. |
7 |
Advertising bills or placards are not to be displayed. |
8 |
Walls and fences are to be well kept. |
9 |
Nothing shall be done or permitted to be done on the land which may be or grow to be a nuisance or annoyance to the owners of the adjoining or neighbouring properties. |
These covenants are enforceable by action through the Civil Courts of Law, and where the Association is notified of a serious contravention it is the Associations policy to initiate action. |
